Frequently Asked Questions

  • When booking your appointment, you’ll be asked to provide entry instructions. If you have a doorman, a lockbox, or a safe spot to leave a key, there’s no need to stay on-site. Prefer to be there? You’re absolutely welcome to stick around — whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

    That said, please don’t forget your appointment! We’ll send a reminder by email or text, but if our cleaner is unable to access the property due to incomplete or incorrect entry instructions, or if no one is present when expected, a lock-out fee will apply.

  • We’re happy to provide a COI for both residential and commercial properties. Just send your request to associated@optonline.net at least 48–72 hours before your appointment, along with a sample COI and any specific instructions. Our team will process your request and follow up with you promptly.

  • Yes — ACS is insured and bonded. We carry the appropriate coverage to protect our clients, their properties, and our team, giving you confidence and peace of mind when we’re on site.

  • Cleaning times vary depending on the scope of work and specific services requested. Factors such as the size of the space, level of detail required, and any additional requests all play a role.

    Our priority is to clean thoroughly and properly, ensuring a clean, comfortable environment rather than rushing the job. We focus on delivering a high-quality result that aligns with what the customer has requested.

  • We at the moment accept credit/debit cards, check, and cash.

  • Yes, our technicians are professionally trained to safely move standard furniture items as needed.
    However, there are certain items we do not move, such as large electronics, cubicle systems, filing cabinets, and similar fixtures.

  • Yes — ACS brings our own professional cleaning supplies and equipment, including items such as vacuums, mops, and natural cleaning products, to ensure a thorough and effective clean.

    Please note that we do not provide toilet brushes or pest control products. If you prefer specific products to be used or would like us to use items already in your space, you’re welcome to let us know at the time of booking.

  • You may provide specific instructions or special requests, provided they are submitted to our management team prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows us to properly prepare and ensure your requests are handled correctly.

    Our cleaners are happy to follow specific instructions at your request, but they are not able to accept or add special requests at the time of service. Submitting details in advance helps ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning experience.

  • You may cancel or reschedule your service without penalty as long as notice is provided at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

    Standard Cleanings

    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

    • Standard cleaning appointments are confirmed and charged in full within 3 hours of the scheduled start time.

    Specialty Cleanings
    (Including, but not limited to, deep cleans and post-construction/post-renovation cleans)

    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment are subject to a 50% cancellation fee based on the quoted price.

    • Specialty and custom cleaning appointments are confirmed and charged in full within 5 hours of the scheduled start time.

    Because your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, cancellation fees help cover wages for our cleaners who would otherwise be scheduled for another customer.

    Recurring Services
    If you have a recurring service, each appointment must still be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Future recurring appointments may be canceled at any time without penalty.

  • You can sign up for recurring services at the time of booking by selecting or requesting a recurring schedule. We offer several convenient ways to set this up — including online booking, direct communication with our team, or through one of our technicians during a visit.
